Resizing to a "Mobile" resolution behaves erratically

clayzermk1 12 years ago updated by Ionuț Botizan 9 years ago 2

Environment:

Debian Wheezy w/ kernel 3.2.35-2 x86_64

Google Chrome version 24.0.1312.56 (from official stable repo)

Window Resizer version 1.7.0 (from Chrome Web Store)

What happened:

When trying to resize to a "Mobile" resolution, the viewport resolution does not match the specified resolution.

Subsequent clicks on the same "Mobile" resolution will resize the viewport (and window) to a seemingly random height and width.

"Laptop" and "Desktop" resolutions resize the window to the correct height and width.

Subsequent clicks on the same "Laptop" or "Desktop" resolution does nothing (as expected, window is correctly sized).

What did you expect to happen:

I expected the viewport to resize to the correct resolution.

PS:

Thanks for making such an awesome tool! It's very useful!

Let me know if I can provide further information.

This shouldn't be a problem anymore in the new version 2 (currently on Beta).
