I would really like this plug in to be able to tell me what my current window size is. Supposedly there is a way to do this with a hot key but I cant figure out how to get it to work.

A few suggestions on how I think this could be implemented:

1.) Hover over the Window Resize Extension icon could give the name of the extension and the current window dimensions.

2.) When I click on the Window Resize Extension icon I get a list of screen sizes that I can swtich to.... why cant my current window size be shown at the top or bottom of the list?

3.) Show it in the bottom right corner all of the time (allow the user to turn this on or off via a setting in the preferences area)

Hi Sean,

This is possible in the new version 2. If you want to have it (virtually) permanently on, you have to:

  1. Open the settings page
  2. Click on the "tooltip" header, under the "settings" section
  3. Make sure the tooltip is enabled for all pages ("Automatically show the resize tooltip on all pages")
  4. In the "Hide the resize tooltip after" field enter a huge number, like 9999999 milliseconds. This means the tooltip would only hide if a tab sits idle, without navigating to a new page, for approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes.
