chrome could not apply exact dimensions

smedz28 hace 7 años actualizado por Ionuț Botizan hace 7 años 1

When I try to resize using some of the presets I get a message - chrome could not apply exact dimensions. I have been building a website over the last few weeks and relying on these break points only to find that they aren't the correct dimensions that I have been working to

Hi smedz28,

I'm sorry but it's not my fault. The extension uses standard Chrome APIs to re-size the window (chrome.windows.update()) but Chrome sometimes fails to set those desired dimensions and there's nothing I can do about it except warning you that re-sizing failed.

You could enable the re-size tooltip to see the exact dimensions of the window & viewport like this: http://windowresizer.userecho.com/topics/612-what-happened-to-the-browser-dimensions-dynamically-showing-in-the-lower-right-corner-of-the/#comment-499
