Window size does not render correct height, may incorrectly include browser chrome

I set a 1280 x 720 pixel browser window to take usage videos of a web application. 

The resulting videos have the correct width (within a pixel or two) but the height is off completely, about 638 pixels.

It is possible that the window size calculations are either wrong, or taking into account browser UI/chrome, which would also be wrong.
