Ability to unbind all hotkeys

BasicSettingsShouldBeTheNorm 3 months ago updated by Ionuț Botizan 3 months ago 1

It's been said that there is supposed to be an "X" inside the chrome://extensions/shortcuts section next to each keybind option.

There isn't however (probably phased out by brain damaged chrome developers), only a pencil icon remains which allows you to ONLY "redefine" the shortcut, not "Unbind" the hotkey entirely.
I wish to set the shortcut to "Not set" which apparently is completely impossible.

Currently forced to manually set the three default keybinds to some random keybind I'll never touch.

- Request to add a button inside the Windows Resizer hotkeys options menu which would allow us to set ALL hotkeys/keybinds to "None".

Hey there,

I feel your pain, but it's not possible to do that. Extensions are not allowed to manipulate the shortcuts directly.

However, it is possible to unbind a shortcut key by clicking on the "Edit" icon and then pressing the "Escape" key. Not very user friendly, I know, but as I said, there's nothing I can do on my end.

I hope this helps!

Best Regards,
