Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean. Can you maybe give me the link to the extension that works and the one that doesn't and explain in more detail what doesn't work?

Hey guys,

I'm sorry, but Vivaldi is not supported at the moment and there is no plan for doing that in the near future either.

It doesn't work because Vivaldi is not implementing properly/completely Chrome's extensions API (and I suspect it has a lot of bugs too; I just found a couple in the first 5 minutes after I installed it). Opera, on the other hand, has no problems and Window Resizer seems to work just fine on it so you might want to give it a try.

Hey there,

I'm sorry but the keyboard shortcuts are managed by the browser. Any extension can suggest a list of shortcuts when it's installed but then it's up to the browser to set or remove any of them.

So, if you say you removed them but they still work, then it's definitely a Chrome bug which I can't do anything about... :(

@Michael, can you please provide more details. I'm not sure I understand what you mean exactly... Can you please let me know what Display Settings are you using and what exactly is the error? Thank you!

@Darin, I don't think your problems are related. What you are experience seems to be caused by this Chrome bug and I can't do anything about it. Sorry!

Hello Igor,

I'm on vacation now and I only have my phone on me so please forgive me for not elaborating more; I'll just point you to a previously answered question that should help you fix your issue: http://windowresizer.userecho.com/topics/111-does-not-work-offline/

Best regards and a happy new year!

Hello Thiago,

That is already possible. In a browser, the area where the site is displayed, without borders, navbar, etc. is called the viewport.

Here's how you can enable a tooltip that displays both the window and the viewport size (and assign a keyboard shortcut to toggle it).

Version 1: http://take.ms/T70uU

Version 2: http://take.ms/K3ndR

(You can download version 2 from: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/window-resizer-beta/pnhnbekjlbamfnnemcaolkjchjlidbib)

Hello Isaac,

I am aware of that happening randomly to users, but I couldn't ever reproduce it myself. All I know is it's due to the hacky way I'm using to detect the current viewport size... That was the only option a few years ago...

My suggestion is for you to try the beta version 2 (it's actually pretty stable and I'm planning to release it soon to everyone). It uses a different, more reliable way, of detecting the viewport's size and resize it to a new dimension. You can get it here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/window-resizer-beta/pnhnbekjlbamfnnemcaolkjchjlidbib

Hi Dave,

I have added the ability to manually drag the tooltip to any corner (or centered on a window side), but only in the beta version 2. I don't think I'll add it in v.1 because I'm planning to release v.2 to everyone very soon.

You can see how it looks in this short screencast: http://take.ms/lbjOR

...or try it for yourself by downloading v.2 from here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/window-resizer-beta/pnhnbekjlbamfnnemcaolkjchjlidbib

Hello Colin,

That is by design and it happens if you modified your settings to always center the window or you tried to resize to a preset that specifies a horizontal position for the window. These options only work on the primary monitor because Chrome doesn't provide a way to detect the monitor the current window is displayed on and there doesn't seem to be any workaround for that. :(

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Ionuț
